Serial Router Control
I have written the commands to control a video router that is not on the built in 'Video Switcher' list.
Is it possible to have the built in list modified for the Sierra commands I am using? (Tried the Kramer setting, who own Sierra, but no go)
If I copy the CatIntel_Settings.xml, will the custom serial commands move?
I'm trying to leave the custom serial control open for really custom things- I need to program 8 outputs of a 16x16 nmatrix. This will chew up all 8 custom serial devices.
Thanks!

Serial commands get saved in CatIntel_Settings.xml, - so YES - you can 'copy' the file and use it again...
Best to ask Richard for specific matrix inclusion.
Can you confirm make and model of matrix and provide the serial commands?

Sierra Router
Command
** Sx, y, z !!
x= Source number
y= Destination
z= Router level (Usually 1)
Note- to program the current custom serial, I had to alternate between hex and Ascii. When I tried to input the commas and other symbols as text, I couldn't. Ended up inputting those as hex values and putting in the Sx y and z as text.
Looks like: [2a][2a]'s1'[2c]'1'[2c]'1'[21][21]
This switches source one to output one on router level one.
