Those capture cards can go up to 16 th Video Inputs in Composite.
Active silicon LFG4 video digitisers.

Richard SAMSC posted another thread with that information...
If you buy these cards - mention me - you need to get drivers from me.
I admit I only did a quick look around but couldn't find them for sale, who is selling them in North America?

hello SAMSC,
Did you test the Catalyst System with 6 video inputs??? Which hardware did you use and were the video streams played in realtime?
best wishes
saoirse
i have several shows up and running with 6-8 realtime video inputs.
using the hardware listed in this thread.
hello,
there is only one video capture card importing more than 6 video simultanously.
But I only wanted to know the performance of the processor and if the videos were or are synchronise - things like that. Because I have not the chance to test it...
best wishes

I don't know why, SAMSC maybe can answer that to you, but we normaly use like 2 Video Inputs, and they do not use any MOVIES graphic use, as well the processor,... looks like the Video Inputs goes almost directly to the output.
I am shure they use some resources of the machinne, but I can not see it the computer working so hard.
video input uses a different part of processor, and its not so easy to measure the performance, and its not in catalyst application.
video input typically gets a delay - if computer is doing too much - but the delay isnt in catalyst its in the way operating system deals with video input.
the lfg4 cards dont work in the same way as decklink cards.
