hi res still image content is always slow to load so it doesnt really matter what you use,
dont go any bigger than 2048x2048.
And it will take up to a second to load
photoshop, tiff jpeg files are ok.
the larger file size you create the slower they to load.
So jpeg files compressed between 50% and 75% are normally the fastest types of still image files to use?
---
For higher resolution movies you will have to use photojpeg or mjpeg between 50% and 60%.
Any higher than this and the files get very slow.
There are reports of the use of what is called 720p and 1080p on this site.
720p is 1280x720, p means progressive scan.
1080p is 1920x1080, p means progressive scan.
These 2 'standard' hi-def video formats being used.
What this means in a digital video system like this isnt so useful and i can support any size in any aspect ratio up to 2048x2048 - in theory.
In practise it stops being useable before that.
But computers may be fast enough some day, and output devices are increasing in resolution.
