How do you change the art net settings in catalyst.
At the moment I have it set at 0-0.
Which is the only way I can get it to talk.
Conversations with several rocket scientists have yielded zero results.

Appreciate your help.

I am running V4 Catalyst direct via ethernet from a Grand MA.
I have to assign the stream/subnet that talks to the Catalyst.
Atthe moment I can only get it to talk to the setting 0-0.
So I have to patch everything on the console around that to keep it free for the catalyst.
It would be good to know if I could change the assign on the catalyst end.
Sorry if that is a bit vague.

Thanks for your time.

Make sure your MAC is set to an Artnet address (e.g. 2.0.0.10) and the same subnet as the Grandma. You should then be able to patch your Catalyst input to whichever universes you are transmitting to. This is in the drop down menu for each input that normally defaults to "CIB" next to the DMX address for each layer.

I have done this with the GrandMA and it seemed to work fine.

I don't quite understand what you mean by "0-0" as ip addresses are usually x.x.x.x

Cheers

Toby

you have to use a sub-net mask of 255.0.0.0 for artnet in the mac tcpip settings - otherwise it might not see all artnet devices.
