Catalyst v4.06 beta 2:

Greater mix flexibility:

Global keystoning on mix and sub-mix outputs.

Support for Matrox ‘Triple Head 2 Go’ for 3 ‘full screen outputs’

Picture in Picture mixes. Multiple mixes on screen with no HUD visible.

Preliminary edge blending on keystoned mixes.
Mixes can be offset and joined together allowing panoramas.


Tiger compatibility only ( OSX 10.4.6 or greater )
Universal Binary. Intel and PowerPC

this isnt a test for pixelmad just edge blending...

i need to add this back in.

is there any other info on the Matrox? i.e how reliable it is, what cards does it work with(their site says its only windows compatable)? Thanks

buy one and test it.
they are cheap enough.

their site is not accurate. they dont need any drivers - its just a clever vga splitter.

The Matrox Triple Head is very relible,... I used ion a trade show for like 16 hours a day, for about 10 days, and only one morning I needed to restarted one time, all the rest PERFECT.

Just beware, I don't know how the computer process, but you get a output of like 2400 x 800, I had some slow downs with 2 triple heads on one G5.

Not a problem on a MacPro, 6 outputs fine...

which graphics cards do you have in macpro?

On the G5's I have Radeon 9800 (will do any good to exchange for X800's ?)

On the MacPro, we have the X1900, works with no problems,...
