Hello,

I have a client that would like to run v4.0 off of one of the new Intel Mac Mini's. I have already suggested that they get the best processor available, and at least 1GB system RAM.

The client will probably only be running at most, one movie layer and one mask layer.

My greatest concern is the video/graphics card. The standard card that comes in these only has 64 MB RAM. MAC does not seem to offer any type of standard card upgrade, and I don't really know what the options would be for an alternative in these particular machines.

I've done Xpress v3.3 off of the older G4 Mac Mini, but we had to get a better card w/ 256 RAM.

Anyone have ant thoughts/experiences in this area?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

it does work. you have to try it for yourself - to see if it performs well enough for your application.

you will need 1GB ram for tiger.
