:mad: Richard,
i need a possiblity to disable the message : No videoinput when i`m switching the inputsignal .
we use 3.3 pro with a decklink extreme .
Any idea ??

you cant the message comes from the video input card.
you need to use a seemless input switcher - that maintains the sdi signal when you switch - or switches to a black signal

you cant just turn off the video input layer?? make it a black image instead?

We are switching live cameras without breaks . Like TV.
I could always go to transparent, use a black layer or turn the videolayercolors to black .
But its much´more comfortable to do this with the card.
I`m still in contact with blackmagic and hopefully they will modify the driver with a delayed/disabled message . :-)

and you dont have a seemless video switcher?
quite unpredictable things might happen with the loss of sync...

I already asked BMD about this. It would be nice to have an option to have the last fram frozen when losing the signal or a black frame. The "no video input" is a waste of space...
Here is what they said: "Thanks for the suggestion. We've received some requests for this feature as well as I've forwarded them to the engineers for consideration."
So I think we´ll need to go Amnesty style, have lots of people ask for it...
