Is it possible to do the labeling of movies/folders without special characters in the future ?
We have our Backup on dos-formatted windows servers ..

I mean the filenames are strange (something like texture b/w.bmp )

Our server doesnt support files with a bigger size than 4 GIGS.

well thats a big problem for you as that only gets you 20minutes of a dv file.
not really a software problem...
i have nothing to do with the content that highend ships.

you can change the filenames to be called whatever you want.
I have nothing to do with the content that ships.
Could use NTFS file systems in the servers to get round 4GB limits?

there is no 4gb file limit on osx.
i dont know anything about which version of windows this is a problem for---
as one hour of dv is 12GB -this is a problem that went away on macs a long time ago.
