Rumour sites are reporting potential new macs in 7-10 days.
So dont buy one in the next two weeks unless apple announces something.
These rumours are credible.

. G5's will launch at the WWDC (not any earlier) - apparently all models as dual systems. Configurations:
Base: 1.8 GHz Dual - $1,999 (currently 1.6 GHz single at $1,799)
Mid: 2.4 GHz Dual - $2,499 (currently 1.8 GHz Dual at $2,499)
High: 3.0 GHz Dual - $2,999 (currently 2.0 GHz Dual at $2,999)
The base system will begin shipping immediately, while the mid-range configuration will not be launching until mid-July. The high-end system will not be shipping until late July/early August - or whenever the IBM stockpile reaches enough to meet demand... Of course Steve will say "... and the Dual 3.0 GHz PowerMac's will be shipping in one month."

All rumours are not verified.
I get no preview from apple of any future products.
I know about them the day apple releases them

Only the dual 2.5 Ghz you have to wait for. If dual 2Ghz is enough for you, you just saved 500 dollars, got an 8x superdrive, and can get the new vides cards (even though you lose a PCI slot). They ship in 1-3 days.

you will need to learn plumbing.
The dual 2.5GHz Power Mac G5 features an innovative liquid cooling system that?s more efficient than a traditional heat sink. This system provides a continuous flow of thermally conductive fluid that transfers heat from the processors as they work harder. The heated fluid then flows through a radiant grille, where air passing over cooling fins returns the fluid to its original temperature
