More than 255 preset by trigger 1 - 1ch

Hello.
Any of you have found a way to GO more than 255 Preset by dmx.
I mean. in a direct way with Patch in catalyst: preset trigger 1 - 1ch.
I was of course other ways, web server, Cue List, but they are more than 700 Preset I don´t want to have to edit the "show cue" the entire Cue List.

There was a custom version once that had a 2nd Preset trigger device to get to the next 255 presets

Would be nice to see this included again in V5, maybe with 4 devices?
