Hi! I have the following problem: I use Catalyst 5 (4): <configuration with two video cards NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti (basic) and NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 (optional)>. Instead, images from the video input, I use the card Blackmagic Intensity PRO defense, on the second monitor connected to an additional graphic card shows a white square. The main monitor - all right. Video files are played on both monitors normally. How can I fix this?

Hello

You cannot use multiple graphics cards - only single graphics cards with multiple outputs

Hi,Nev!
Is there no solution? Video files play fine what is wrong with live video?

Nev is correct, this cannot be done.
Video capture cannot be passed across multiple graphics cards.

You need a Matrox TripleHead2Go or a Datapath x4 to achieve more than 2x outputs from a pre 2014 (5,1 Generation or older) Mac Pro, using a single graphics card.

Not totally correct

With a AMD 7950 Card you can have more than 2 outs

do you know how this card compares to the GTX680 or Q4000
do you have any experience when connecting to 1 preferably 2 datapath's x4's
thanks

I swopped some of my Quadro 4000 to the AMD7950
You get better results, but I cant remember the figures.
GTX 680 is a bit lower in performance, and as the AMD drivers are within the system it seems to work smoother
Also some rental companys here in germany switched to the 7950 from Qaudro 4000.
Problem is that you can only get them in the US or UK at the moment

I only had 1 X4 connected to it... Sorry...

I discovered another problem. Catalyst v.4 correctly determines which graphics card is selected in the system as the core, and this video card is correctly displayed signal from the video capture device.
Catalyst v.5, no matter what graphics card is installed in the system as the core, only works correctly with the graphics card which is selected at the initial startup.

Hello

As I said - Catalyst is designed to work with a single graphics card. Do not try to use multiple cards.

you cant use more than one card - they have no means of sharing without going through CPU -which completely degrades things
