Hello,

Ive just had a last minute phone call for a job to help a friend out which involves mapping an incoming video feed from VJ's not an array of Barco MiStrips.

Catalyst will be getting a DVI-D feed from the VJ-s converted to SDI and in via an active silicon card, hopefully. Ive never used MiStrips before, but i know the Barco led processor will be expecting DVI feed with all of the pixels chop dup and mapped in the correct order, can anyone advise me on the best way to do this in Catalyst?

Or, is it possible to send Art-net to the MiStrips (I'm currently downloading the manual now) and then i could just use pixel mad.

Also attached stage plan below:

Thanks

Andy

Hi Andy,

I'm not aware that you can send art-net to Mistrips, we used barco d320 digitisers to do the mapping on Dior, though you may wish to use several mixes to optimise the number of digitisers required, and simply output dvi

or you can use exact maps if you want to map each strip in catalyst... (but would suggest you let the video techs do their homework ;)

Cheers

Thanks for the info Andy, i was thinking of exact mapping, though I'm stuck with a mavericks laptop which the current build m466 seems to have exact mapping stripped out. until i head north on friday where i have a Snow leopard machine.
Knowing they're bringing a 320 with the kit ill leave it with them :)
