First step NEVER upgrade to a new operating system on a shows machine unless it has specific features the software needs.

See if you can do a time machine restore, or restore from DVD back to lion.

It will be released when Richard decides it is ready for public release. It takes time to make test and fix things that change from one OS version to a new one. There are also things that Apple need to fix on Mavericks, it is not a perfect OS release, there are always many bugs on first releases.
We all just need to wait.

Hello Yokakoka

The new Catalyst version to run on Mavericks is nearly ready. There have been major changes 'under the hood' caused by Apple making major changes from Mountain Lion into Mavericks.

We have been testing the new version to ensure everything works when it is released - Richard does not release new versions until he is happy they are show ready.

As nev said - we have been testing a new version of catalyst for mavericks.

Once it is ready, I'm sure Richard will release it.

However, all current Macs will still run 10.8.5 - there is no reason to upgrade to mavericks at all.
If you buy a new mac with mavericks installed, suggest you backup the disk image and re-install 10.8.5

The exception to this will be the new 6,1MacPro cylinder. It will probably have to run mavericks...

When the new MacPro arrives (is delivered) I'm sure there will be a release...
But it still has to be tested!...
...I'm sure you'd rather have stable and tested, rather than broken software.

So please be patient - if you have any issues, do contact us.

Also - please feedback to apple directly if you have comments about the new MacPro - its only by user feedback that they might make improvements?!...

but there are some problems in 10.8.5... i have tested in on 2 different MacPro's (4.1 quad core, gt120, ssd and 4.1 8-core, quadro 4000, ssd raid) and the result is the same... same files, same projects runs perfect on this Mac's under 10.6.8... http://chaldee1.gotadsl.co.uk/~richardb/upload/showpost.php?p=11618&postcount=17
so it is very interesting to try new version of Cat under 10.9

NO - this is a problem with your particular setup / hardware / drivers / files...

There is (generally) no problem with running Catalyst on OS 10.8.5

However, if your configuration works with 10.6.8, then stick with it - there is no particular performance benefit between 10.6.8 and 10.8.5 - its all down to the hardware...

I was unable to install ML on my brand new late 2013 macbook pro, 11,3 it comes with mavericks pre-installed and I think they don't have drivers for the graphics card since it was a new addition?. Other than that I have had success with new mac minis being downgraded.
