Has anyone had some experience with those?

Its just a Dual-Link DVI Distribution Amplifier... with a USB programmable EDID
Max programmable resolution is 4096 in either direction within the 330MHz clock (software works this out) Although it will do more if you can program an EDID externally...

Normally you would connect X4's to the outputs and setup the X4 input regions to look at the relevant part of the whole image.
