there are a number of ways to do this, this is one of them:
- set the time shedule to start the mac in the system prefs or ical sheduling
- let catalyst log in automatically in the account system prefs
- activate go to full screen automatically
- set the cuelist to autoplay when loaded
- write an applescript to stop catalyst at a certain time in ical
- shut down the mac the same way you started it
it really depends on what level of complexity you need.
there are several ways to do this sort of thing.
If you could be more specific about what you need to be able to do then we can help you further.
do you just need catalyst to launch when the mac is booted, run a sequence and shut itself down at night?
or does it need to be more complex, run certain sequences at certain times, or on certain days?
How is your system set up? do you need it to turn projectors or displays on/off as well? is catalyst responding to external commands or running its own internal cue list?
The way you set this type of thing up depends upon your requirements.
