Anybody have any experience of using this with catalyst?

I'm guessing I can use the serial remote presets?

I can't see a way of issuing custom commands over ethernet....

I suspect that I'll end up leaning over and pressing buttons on a laptop but I'd love to have it all being controlled from the desk!

it is possible to access the remotes over ethernet. look at what High Res Engineering do with their Spyder Touch.

in fact if you want to run a x20 via dmx follow the linky...

In addition to the products from HRS, I have had tremendous success controlling Spyder through DMX. Initially, my solution worked just like theirs to trigger presets, command keys, etc. However, I also began writing an interface to begin dynamically controlling the Key Data in Layers.

Yes, short answer is that this can be done in Catalyst. Use a serial preset and use the ASCII string from each of it's 10 slots to trigger command keys.
