Hi all,
I have a set-up in a museum where I use the showcontrol from Catalyst. I've created some cuelists and would like to be able to fire them from a browser. The webserver is a nice way to do do this but has way to many info and things to mess up (non qualified staff is going to fire the cues). Is there a way to make a simple page with ie. two buttons on it. each button would be paired to a que.

Thanks,

Gilles

would making a bookmark in ur browser work....ie bookmark "1" might start a cue list, and book mark "2" may stop it or fire a preset?

You can make your own web page with any standard creator.
Just create two buttons and attach the URL for the cue you want to fire.
If you run the cue from the web browser and look in the www webserver box in the control window at the same time it will display the command you need.

Hope that helps
Paul

I know this is an old post, but I have been trying to make a page with a few buttons.
1 for selecting a que and another for playing the chosen cue.
I just don´t seem to find a way to link these buttons to the catalyst web server. I guess I'm not getting the command right...
Anyone knows how this works?

Thanks

You can find a list of web commands in the docs tab of the built in web server. its towards the bottom of the page after all the DMX stuff
I think you'll be wanting ?FindPlayShowCue=

hope that helps

Thanks,
I saw the command as you described. Does this mean I just copy de command and paste it in iweb as a link?

I believe so.....if it's on the same computer you keep "local host" in the command...if not you change the "local host" to the ip address of the computer running catalyst
