Hi Guys I have been working with the Thriplehead2go fairly unsuccessfully this afternoon and was wonder what luck other people have had with them.
I have got my MacPro to output 3840x1080 (2x 1920x1080) through DVI to the triplehead but neither of my monitors or projectors will accept the signal, has anyone else had this working?
Cheers

If the mac states that it is running that resolution - then it would seem that it is seeing the TH2G. Are you using a dual-link cable?

What else do you have connected to your system
What spec is your Mac and graphics card?
Is this new or hired?

Can you login to the mac via screen sharing from another Mac and see what is on the screen?

How long are your cables from the TH2G to the Monitor or Projector?
Do they connect to any other processing kit or are they direct?
What is the refresh rate?

Can you send a screen shot?

I use TH2G all the time and they are usually fairly simple to set-up and work most of the time
(unless you have a broken one)

Hi Simon thanks for the reply I have tested most of these things.
The thriplehead is on a 0.5m DVI cable, I have screen shared in and the Mac is sending the correct resolution but the triplehead is not sending a signal that my kit can understand, I was really just wondering if anyone else had, had similar issues.

as above:

Can you get hold of another one to compare - it sounds like you may have a broken one

If in warantee - talk to matrox. Ask for Rob Moodey at the UK office.

What firmware version is the TH2Go?
2.3.50 does some weird stuff...

Hi Guys thanks for the advice, I change my dual link DVI cable for another one (I had already changed it once) and it seems to be working pretty well now.
So Now I have 2x 1920x1080 50Hz outputs as well as a 1920x1080 50Hz preview and the GTX285 seems to be working well.

Cheers for all the help guys

Dont know how long your Dual-Link cable is - but it is wise to keep it as short as possible (0.5 - 1m, 2m max) as the signal is fairly high bandwidth.

TH2G dont seem to work well over long cables (2m+)
