Awaiting test board from Blackmagic...
..only problem is that they don't have any mini-BNC to BNC adaptors in stock yet at £15.00 each!!!
(and neither does anyone else I've tried... guess they are all on the same ship from china)

Blackmagic were quoting 4-6 weeks for the cables - altough the cards were available now... Might be sent a test board in a few weeks...

Im in Asia now, but not doing any shopping!! I would be interesting to see the results of your testing as it would be a card i would consider replacing the AS LFG4 in my system.

I spoke to Blackmagic at the IBC show last weekend and seen the card working with the current MacPro's and Softron's MediaRecorder and ToolsOnAir's just:in. Looked impressive. Not yet brought one, although close!

The Blackmagic Quad card 'works'...

...but the real question is what is the latency and frame buffering?

I've tested the latency, but not the frame buffering.
You need to test it in your own environment to see if it works for your setup.
(thats why I'm not posting my results - as it depends on your hardware configuration etc...)

The card also has custom micro BNC connectors that aren't that secure.
