Catalyst does not like Lion

I upgraded my laptop to Lion a few days ago and decided to see if Catalyst would run on it. It would not. Catalyst boots to the point where you see the 2 output windows then shuts down. So, if for some reason you were thinking about upgrading your Catalyst machines to Lion, I would suggest waiting.

Old news - NEVER try to run on a machine with anything new from Apple!

Richard will have been working on fixes and will no doubt have a solution when he is ready. In the meantime - stick with what works!

Yeah, thats why I tried it on my laptop. Ill use it to do some pre programming sometimes, thats about it.

Did you install Quicktime 7.

I had the same when I tried to run catalyst on 10.6. When I installed quicktime 7 it works.
