Getting AIC to playback

Hello everyone. I am having trouble getting AIC to play on a few of my machines. They are still on Tiger OS and work great except for no AIC playback. What do I need to install to get this codec to play? I was actually told I needed to go get iLife and it would be on there. Any truth to this? Thanks for any help.

I copy mine from a working machine by...hardrive..library..quicktime...and grab the apple intermediate codec component. im not sure if that is the most correct way to do it though
