Catalyst with MA NSP?

Hello everyone, I have a demo coming up of Catalyst/PixelMad and I am having a hard time locating an Artnet to DMX box. Has anyone used the MA NSP running in Artnet mode? Seems like it should work. I would go ethernet from a Grand MA to a router, connected to the router would be my Catalyst and the MA NSP, the NSP would be set in Artnet mode with 4 DMX lines going to all the LED fixtures I am working on. Will this work? I can get plenty of NSPs, just having a hard time getting an Artnet box, mine is currently on tour. Thanks for any help, Matt

Hi Matt

yes you have to put Ma nsp in arnet mode and it would work, when you put Nsp in arnet mode is as all rest of arnet nodes. you can config nsp directly from front panel or whit a onpc or a console.

The Martin Ether2DMX works. I've used it to take PixelMad stream and drive color blocks as pixels.

We have a couple if you want to try it.

Note:
when selecting an MA net universe - its in DECIMAL

when selecting an ARTNET universe - its in HEX

(and theres nothing in the manual explaining that....)
