Hi there!

Can somebody help me how to use msc and trigger preset on catalyst. I tried to test it, but failed to work. I use midiox as my trigger unit.

Manny Thanks.

I've always gone via a cuelist as I generally need to trigger a sequence of things.

Are you seeing midi in?

Not sure how the cuelist:cue number:cue path relates to presets.

Yes paul, i saw midi in (light Blinking) and display 1:3, 1:5 etc. on Last Go every time i send midi. And you're right, i don't know how cuelist relates to preset.
Tried to set a cuelist with two sequence to trigger but failed to work.
Can you send me sample cuelist how do to it.

Thank you!!!
Ernie

To trigger the cuelist;
Create a cuelist in the normal way (let's call it 1)
In the control window point the second midi in device to cuelist 1
In the cuelist, type in the incoming msc into the show cue field
So if you want to trigger a cue on the msc command "cue 2 cuelist 1" then type 2:1 into the show cue field.
I've found that with some systems I've had to include the cue path as well (2:1:1)

Thinking about it, this might be the way to trigger presets directly,
Use the first midi in device to point to presets and put the midi command as the name of the preset -not tried it yet, only just occured to me.
Let me know how you get on
