Hi all, I am about to buy a second Mac Tower and want to get a case to hold them both vertically. I have read a little about different peoples setups and have seen a few things I have liked. Does anyone know if a case company is already making such a case? Seems like it might also be popular with the Pro Tools guys as well. Or, if you have a cool set up would you mind letting me contact your case company and have them build me a similar set up?

And for my monitor question. Is there a decent, affordable dual rack mount monitor set up out there? All the ones I have seen have been in the neighborhood of 1500 and up. Not that Im opposed to paying that, but if theres something more affordable that will work, Id rather go that route.

Thanks as always for any help. Matt

Hi Matt

Most flight case manufacturers can make you a case to your spec. I would have a look what other people have done, then take the best ideas from those cases and get the manufacturers to design one with you. Many of them can offer a 3D drawing service so you can see your design. Shop around! Stage Sound Services in Cardiff make very good Catalyst cases for their rental stock and sell cases too.

There are some monitor brackets on the market that consist of a VESA bracket arm in a 19" 1u format. Put a monitor on it and then it slides out and up in front of your rack. Nice simple design.
