Hello all, I have what I guess is a newbie question. The different mixes I can make on the Catalyst, is that changeable via dmx? Like if I have a mix set up for a bunch of Jarags on mix one and a mix for a bunch of Stage Bars on 2, can I switch between the two via dmx? Seems like ive been picking up a little bit of this knowledge by reading on this forum but not entirely clear on the subject. I have noticed a few different profiles for the GMA that seems to do something like this. Could anyone explain this a little better? Thanks for any help, Matt

There are certain aspects of Mixes that are controllable via DMX.
Such as Mix keystoning and Active layers in a Mix

What exactly are you looking to control ?
What console are you using?

Hope this helps. :)

Matt,

You can store mix settings in presets. Then you can recall these presets which switches the mix configurations. This doesn't require a lighting controller. However, Marty is right that you can control mix parameters from a desk. Also, any features you cannot access from the desk you can store in presets and then use the desk to trigger these presets through dmx.
