How come that on two of my Catalyst's is the Finder's menu bar visible when I go to fullscreen. It should be the same configuration on all of them?

do you have the same OS on each one?

What is the screen configuration set to in the Displays system preferences?

Yes, same OS on all, newly updated. But if I did "Hide Finder" the problem disaperd.

It seems that if you start up the machines and have catalyst to autostart and the do a Send all connected to Fullscreen is when the finder menu is visible. I hope that helps.

I;ve had the same issue - to do with Catalyst in the startup items with full screen selected, and then the menu bar is still visible. The only workaround currently is to HIDE finder - easy, but a pain every time....

Haven't managed to learn how yet, but it would be nice to write a small piece of Apple Script to put in startup items, instead of Catalyst, which does the following:
wait 30sec
load catalyst
wait 30 sec
hide finder

if anyone does manage to write this, before I learn how - do post a copy...

I'm having the same trouble (with 3.3) ..
Catalyst is in the osx startup items. When booting the machine and automagically opening catalyst app in fullscreen, the menubar stays.

Any quick workarounds ? (aside from switching to finder and back)

what os version are you using?

do you have any other startup items?

something else might be starting up after catalyst, and switching the front most application

my startup items contains a couple of items...

if these start up after catalyst, i think they cause the front app to change.

not sure for certain.

catalyst might have to be first or last in the startup items list.
test and see if this helps
