Need a little help...

I am trying to use the Spectrograph function.
Visual FX DMX = 123.

I only use Catalyst once a year.
It's on a Power Mac G5.
It has Catalyst PM V4.1 m119

I have two choices for plugging audio in.
First is the built in mono Audio In on the back of the box.
The manual says it's for a "microphone or other self powered devices."
Second is an audio/video card that is installed (AlchemyTV).

The only way I can get it to work is by plugging into the built in Audio In.
But then I only get one channel (it looks like).

If I use the Alchemy input I can see audio in the G5 system's Sound control screen, but the Catalyst won't let me select it on the Control Panel. It lists it but when I select it from the drop down, it just stays in the Line In.

I have the Parameter 1 (FX1) set for 0 and I get a waveform that appears to only be on the left half of the screen. Am I missing a channel or is that it?

What's up?

Catalyst in that version works with the systems default sound input

you select that in the system sound control panel

spectrograph is only for a single channel at a time
