hello Rafal

there is a slight performance increase between the MOBI and the PRO range, but the prices for MTRON's are high compared to other drives such as the OCZ range.

The Vertex range of SSD's is close to the MTRON PRO's, but by this time, the performance bottleneck shifts away from the hard drive system to the processor/graphics card.

So - MTRON PRO is good, but expensive, OCZ Vertex is cheaper and capacity is now up to 250gb.

So which OCZ drive you can recommend me, and should I have two smaller SSD drives or one big ?

this is a good review of recent SSD technologies - and a recent OCZ summit drive - it all moves so fast - its not possible to recommend anything-

what are important in disk specs are RANDOM READ times.... nothing else matters.

take all recent reviews lightly -
almost all SSD's work much much better than SATA/SCSI for media playback.

almost all this years crop of SSD's have much greater bandwidth than last years-
Some of them do 200MB/s read.
They all work so much better than sata/scsi drives ever did-
