Richard,
first of all congrats to this application, I have seen a couple of pictures before and was stunningly amazed already only with photos.
It looks indead as the Versatubes got a kind of 3D video running on it, or is this only the view perspective of the video/pictures I saw?
Would you mind to shed some light onto this topic?

the array is a 3d grid of hi-res versatubes.
every viewer has unique perspective
you work in depth and height to create a visual effect that moves around.

Were they all mirrored off the 1 front most layer, make a custom software for it or is it just each layer is run off of a different mix/media server?
Its a killer effect and I really think it turned out excellent! I wish I could have seen it live :(

its only one media server doing all the versatubes - you have to get the versatube mapping correct.
andi watson uses multiple layers to build up textures in depth.

Well I'm glad you took a day off the Ancient History studies to work on these boring media servers for a moment.
