imagepro's are quite complex - i wrote a controller just for them-
its not in any current version of software - if you email me - i can give it to you to test.

It didn't work very well when I had a look at it.

what do you mean "didnt work very well..."?

the imagepros arent really designed for much live or realtime control...

it depends what dan wants to do.

I can imagine a few limited applications for Image Pro control. I might be interested in what has been written. However, most setting just get dialed in and left alone.

switching inputs -though its not a very fast switcher.

i was trying a little to deal with those problems on shows where using sub video images seemed to be a little hard to comprehend for the video engineers.
Also the user interface doesnt give the ability to set the precise image rectangle - only a start and a zoom. i thought i could help a bit.

Hi Richard,

i did some testing with a software version with the image pro controller.
We are using the image pro in a lot of setups together with Intensity cards, so switching the inputs over ethernet was really helpful.

What about adding this feature to the new software versions again?

Regards,

Holger
