Blurring

Hi,

Has anyone tried live blurring? I can make mov with blurring in it but it would be more flexible during rehearsals if it can be done otherwise. I've already tried the blur in cat but it isnt enough. I need something like a gaussian blur. Is there anyway to make it work?
