I'm updating my Catalyst machine and I'd like to know how much the processor speeed effects Catalyst performance.

Is it worth the $1600 to get a the dual 3.2 Ghz quad-core versus the 2.8?

doesnt make a tremendous difference -

discs are much more important.

if you dont get an SSD you are totally wasting the cpu speed.
