Anyone know what resolution I can push using the Triple Head 2 Go on a Dual 2.66ghz Intel with a ATI Radeon X1900 XT? I'm talking about display resolution only, not media resolution using said components.

Thanks!

Ive had 3 x 800x600, 3x 1024x768 and 3x 1280x1024 with tripple head analogue and digital edition recently on a 3G with x1900. Limitation of digital edition is that it only seems to allow for 60Hz. Analogue edition gives option of 75Hz too.

I've also had the same results with DH2G at the same resolutions (2x)

In the past, ive managed to use both 2 & 3 together or both of same type. recently however, with x1900xt I only seem to be able to use 1 at a time. Might be my monitor setup or changes in the newer USB powered boxes. Didnt get a chance to test fully - 1 box worked fine in this instance

I was able to run Catalyst using 2 TH2G for 6 x 1024x768 on a Quatro FX. It was a bitch to setup and get working and I had to do it in stages but it worked.

It will not work to use 2 boxes at 1024x768 on an x1900.

These test are analog and digital TH2G.

Two TH2g (both the A and D TH2G) will run 800x600 x 6

You can also get a new digital DualHead and run 2 1920x1080 on it and 1 on the second output.

I have done this on the quatro and the x1900.

If you are just doing graphics and something like spreadsheets or pictures, you can actually get 2 TH2G boxes to display 1280x1024. Of course if you launch Catalyst or Quicktime, or anything that uses OpenGL rendering, it will immediately crash the video.
