Keynote and powerpoint

Keynote will export a quicktime movie - with ALL transitions fx and movies as a single file - you can playback in catalyst in a layer.

Powerpoint never exported transitions - last time i checked.

Suggest people use Keynote. i tested keynote 3.0 in iWork 08.
