Hi Richard

I have a brand new v4 PRO server, Mac PRO 3ghz with 2gb RAM, X1900XT and 15K Fujitsu SCSI running v4.10_m132.

I have an Artistic Licence Net-Link input box connected via cross over CAT5 cable with 12 layers of Catalyst patched to Artnet 15.

When nothing is playing back, I get a load bar on the bottom of the screen showing 162% and in the STATS window, the Artnet Input is off the scale. What does the Artnet Input bar on the STATS window mean.

I was lead to believe that the two bars at the bottom of the HUD screen indicate load on the HD and then load on the graphics card. Why would patching 12 layers make the load on the graphics card go up to 162%??

See attached screen dump.

Nev.

the artnet number means nothing- its the time in milliseconds from the last artnet frame - in this case 4819ms as shown. its not off any scale its a time value.

Your movies value isnt off any scale - you dont have anything playing - and this value holds to the last movie frame loaded - as you arent playing anything - it doesnt update-
the 162% looks like it related to the load time of a movie into a layer- and not playback

Layer 1 is showing a jpeg 100% movie- which isnt a good idea.
