procon serial question

yet another serial question from me:

Anyone used ProCon matrix's with Catalyst, all the built is stuff is fine but I've be going made trying to make the matrix respond.

Using Dsub to the 3 pin rewirable connector, on the d-sub; 2-tx, 3-rx, 5-gnd, on re-wireable; 1-rx, 2-tx,3-gnd as all manuals say, all baud rates correctly tested, I've even monitored the output of the KaySpan using and it is sending correctl. I've swapped and fiddleds to no avail.

Anyone know any secrets?

what are the commands?

I'm using the commands already in the Catalyst custom serial slots.
ie. 1 to 1: [EE0101]
which are consistent with ProCon's some what limited serial info. Just using a simple 8X8 RGBHV matrix and a 8X8 composite matrix.

i put this into the video switcher for the next version.

we are still trying to figure out whats going on.
