I have a show which has an 8:3 ratio screen covered by 2 4:3 projectors (no overlap)

My source footage is HDV1080i which I am compositing at 1920x1080 sq pixel.

Which will give the best playback results?:

1) Rendering the show footage as 2 seperate 720x576 PAL DV movies running as 2 seperate films in sync 1 played out to each projector.

2)Rendering the Show footage as a single HDV1080 film i.e 1440x1080 blanking the 360 unused height pixels and placing the clip across both projectors in catalyst widescreen mode.

3) Rendering a square pixel photojpeg film at say 1600x600 and playing it out widescreen to 2 projectors.

Thanks

which disc? scsi?

dv files work the best.

i have done all sorts of different combinations of this scenario.
its quite difficult to say which one works the best.

the quad g5 has good photojpeg performance.
all options will probably work.

which would you prefer?

would you like to try some experiments?
